Charlotte is a versatile actress based in London, having graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She is also a classically trained singer and dancer. Whilst at Mountview she continued her training in dance with Paul Harris, a leading choreographer. Harris is most notable for his work in the famous laser scene in 'Entrapment' with Catherine Zeta Jones. Further credits include the 'Harry Potter' wand sequences and many of BBC's Period Dramas including 'Bleak House', 'Jane Eyre' and 'Little Dorrit'.
The University of East Anglia (UEA), she read Drama, as it holds no.1 place in The Guardian's University Guide for Drama and Creative Writing. Whilst at UEA, Charlotte was in countless productions and often helped behind the scenes on Set and Scenic Design, Publicity and as a Lighting Tech. She was also President of The Minotaur Theatre Co., UEA's semi-professional Theatre Company. The company puts on 8 productions a year and holds many charity fundraisers, she and the committee led the transfer of 2 new plays to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008.
Charlotte was born in The Netherlands to British parents. Whilst living in Holland she learnt to speak French, Spanish and Dutch. Music has always been a big feature in her life. She studied the piano under Beatrice Veselicova, who studied under one of Brahms' pupils, and succeeded up to Grade 8 with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music. Whilst in Norwich, she trained with Garreth Williams, of the Royal Academy of Music, and became an Associate of the Trinity College of London (ATCL) in Voice. Since then, she has continued her singing with Jane Read, Resident Chorus member of the English National Opera.
